Day 89: Fixed A Leaky Faucet
I fixed a leaky faucet at a friends place. When turning on the faucet the water was shooting all over the place.
Besides wasting water, I was getting showered each time the water was turned on, so I tightened it. The water now runs straight down into the sink.
According to the EPA, “Leaky faucets that drip at the rate of one drip per second can waste more than 3,000 gallons of water each year.”
