Day 292: Used Tea Bag to Clean Tiles

Day 292: Used Tea Bag to Clean Tiles

After I made my own kombucha, I used the tea bags to wipe down and clean the tiles in the bathroom. They could also be used to wipe down mirrors.

When I was done cleaning, I relaxed and used the tea bags to settle my eyes and then “>into my compost.

According to the Household Products Database from the US Department of Health and Human Services, a glass cleaner such as Glass Plus is harmful if ingested. May cause drowsiness, dizziness, loss of coordination, vomiting and abdominal pain.

What was your simple green act for the day?

  • Alchemist
I avoid using tea bags, I try to buy tea leaves so I can put them in the compost or directly in the garden.

    Wrong combination, anyhow.

Man... it should be the other way around... first use the tea bag to relax the eyes if you have to... though the PH of the eye will change by doing it, making the eyes less capable to fight back germs [eye has it's own PH that actually should not be disturbed, that is why so called natural tears are produced - to mimic the natural tear, relax & clean the eye].
If first cleaning up a counter top or wall tiles in kitchen /bathroom, then putting the same over eyes... that also dilutes the natural tear [that is produced to safeguard the eye]... thumb down on the proposed combination...
