Day 42: Gave Friend Glass Jars for Storage
I was chilling at my friends place this weekend. He was looking for something to help organize and store some of his bulk goods (raisins, nuts, grains, etc.)
He was going to go to the store and buy some plastic containers, but told him that I have plenty of mason jars that he can use.
This reduces the amount of plastic waste and reuses glass.
According to Earth911, “It is estimated that the production of plastics accounts for four percent of the energy consumption in the U.S.”
