Day 81: Received Clothing From Friend
Besides getting clothes from my boy Al Kavadlo to donate to charity, I also received some clothes from him to use for myself.
By getting hand me down clothing, new resources weren’t utilized and I got some free clothing in great condition. A recent study estimated that 386 million pounds of textiles enter the NYC waste stream annually, representing close to 6% of total waste. (courtesy of Wearable Collections)
