Day 183: Doing Less Laundry

Day 183: Doing Less Laundry

The fact that I’m doing less laundry can be attributed to many factors – putting clothes back in the closet instead of the laundry bin, wearing the same clothes for multiple days in a row and reusing my bath towel.

The average household does almost 400 loads of laundry each year, consuming about 13,500 gallons of water according to Energy Star.

I’m definitely doing a lot less than 400.

What was your simple green act for the day?

Here's another way to save from washing clothes---use the Refresh'n Towel. It even eliminates the need to dry clean. Check it out here: http://myearth360.com/product/...
