Day 353: Refilled Soap Dispenser at Store
I brought my own container to the store and refilled it with the soap in bulk. You can do this at most health food stores.

This cuts down on the plastic waste that’s created each time that we purchase a new bottle of soap.

    Are you in NYC? (I noticed a New York mag. in one of your pictures). If so, where do get your bulk soap/shampoo etc? I know there are lots of these types of places in CA but I haven't found one here in NYC. Would appreciate knowing where... Great site, by the way. Thank you.

    Why can't you just buy the bulk, and refill it at home. No need to keep coming back just to refill.

  • Yes you can do that as well. This way you save on some of the packaging as well. Either option is a good one.

    where do i ind health stores that have dr bronners soap dispensers in my area

  • That's a good question. I'm not sure if there is a good way to locate them other than calling before you go and asking if they sell the Dr. Bronner's soap in bulk.
