Day 28: Harvested My Own Vegetables

This morning I harvested my own vegetables for my lunch. I picked some swiss chard and kales from my fire escape garden.

In a previous post, I wrote about the advantages of planting your own vegetables.

Here are two of the main advantages of harvesting and eating your own – you know what went into making them (eliminating the use of harmful chemicals) and the transportation of the vegetables.
