Day 313: Removed Sticker From Soda Bottle Using Vinegar


I soaked a cloth in vinegar then wrapped it around a soda bottle overnight to help remove the sticker. No need to use some nasty chemical laden item like Goo Gone.

The bottle was then made into a self-watering container for my balcony garden.

Check the Household Products Database from the US Department of Health and Human Services for products to see the possible health effects.

    mmmm... I used cotton bowls & alcohol [highest grade] to remove the worst glue from mason jars. Labels otherwise went down soaked in a water that I would otherwise use to soak or wash dishes, sometimes scratching down the glue using the side of the knife that has not been sharpen e.g. using not the cutting edge, but the opposite side of the knife.
