Day 29: Put Shirt in Closet Instead of Laundry
I went out for dinner last night. The shirt that I was wearing was only on me for a few hours.
This morning, I decided not to put it into my laundry basket and hang it back up in my closet.
According to eHow, front-load washers use 10-24 gallons per load.
By not putting in a shirt that isn’t dirty in the laundry, I’m limiting the amount of laundry I’m doing and saving water.
What was your simple green act for the day?
