Day 61: Wore New Eco-Friendly Sneakers

Today I wore my new eco-friendly Simple sneakers. I received a complimentary pair when I checked out the preview of their 2010 fall fashion line. Honestly, I like the new line better than these, but I won’t complain.

The Daily Green did a wrap up of Simple shoes and describes them as made, “from hemp, bamboo, organic cotton, recycled tires and other sustainable things.

GreenYour.com also provides a list and explanation of hazardous sneaker materials and what to look for in eco friendly kicks.

What was your simple green act for the day?
